Heaven

The following is taken from airline Captain Dale Black’s near death experience in the book, Imagine Heaven, page 99.

Part of the joy I was experiencing was not only the presence of everything wonderful, but the absence of everything terrible. There was no strife, no competition, no sarcasm, no betrayal, no deception, no lies, no murders, no unfaithfulness, no disloyalty, nothing contrary to the light and life and love…The absence of sin was something you could feel. There was no shame, because there was nothing to be ashamed of. There was no sadness because there was nothing to be sad about. There was no need to hide because there was nothing to hide from. It was all out in the open.

Keep looking up, my friends.

God’s Good Things

Often what we perceive as the “good” things of earth can lead to pride, jealousy, fear, worry, striving, stress, and restlessness.

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!
Matthew 7:11

Today, as I look back on life, I can see how God has (and still is) given me so many “good” things. These are the things that have replaced worry, fear, shame and stress with His love, peace, mercy, faithfulness, joy and rest. I now have a “knowing” that He’s always with me working all things together for my good now that I didn’t have for so many years. And I wouldn’t trade this “knowing” He’s given me for anything.

Truly, God gives so many “good things” from ABOVE where moth and worm cannot destroy. These are the most valuable things we can ever be given.

Thank You, Father.

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven (God’s good things found by doing His Word), where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (When my heart is abiding ABOVE, I have His peace, contentment, covering, mercy, favor, rest and joy – I have Jesus).
Matthew 6:19-21

Set your affection on things ABOVE, not on things on the earth.
Colossians 3:2

Give me Jesus
Give me Jesus
You can have all this world
But give me Jesus
Lyric taken from Give Me Jesus by Fernando Ortega

Come unto me (Jesus), all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Learning To “Remember The Name Of The Lord Our God”

I must tell Jesus all of my trials;
I cannot bear these burdens alone;
In my distress He kindly will help me;
He ever loves and cares for His own.
Lyric from I Must Tell Jesus Christian hymn by E.A. Hoffman

Some (like I did for decades) trust in chariots, and some in horses: but (this is the truly saving turning point) we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
Psalm 20:7

Like many in America, I spent many years trusting in chariots and horses – things the world learns to focus on and trust in. These are the “sand” most of us build our homes on without even realizing it’s what we’re doing. God saw where this would lead me and, just in time, stepped in to teach me how to remember the name of the Lord.

Build Your House on the Rock
24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine (Jesus) and “does them” will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and “does not do” them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

I can’t take any credit for learning how to apply God’s Word to my life, for learning how to build my life on Christ, The Rock. Yes, I did take the time to memorize pertinent scriptures God gave me to help me heal, but His leading and motivation in my life are what determined how things have turned out. Today, thanks to His faithfulness, I have a peace, rest and joy I can only attribute to Him – to His mighty Word – that’s changing me inside out.

Blessing

What a blessing it is to be able to choose Jesus everyday.  So many storms out there these days.  Just like the disciples in their boat on the Sea of Galilee, Jesus prompts us to live by faith and to trust Him with all our heart no matter the storm.  Such amazing Love.  He Who will never leave us nor forsake us tells us to let His peace reign in our hearts at all times.  Mmmm…

The Lord bless you and keep you – as you choose Him each moment of every day
The Lord make His face to shine on you and be gracious unto you – there is nothing like letting His Love into our lives covering us with His mercy, grace, peace and rest
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace
And I put the Name of the God of the children of Israel on you and bless you in Jesus’ Name, the Name that is ABOVE every other name.

Casting all your care upon him (sweet Jesus); for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:7
What a blessed moment it is when we realize that He is our peace.

Jesus Makes All The Difference

Why does Jesus make all the difference? Because He’s overcome the world – John 16:33. I want to live my life the same way. In Jesus, I want to be a world overcomer and motivate others to do the same. After all, time is time, and I may as well live my life’s moments for Christ.

I was out for a walk on a beautiful day when it hit me. I’m going to be alive tomorrow, next week, month, and so on. There is so much negative news going around these days. I thought, “Wow, I can either spend my life scared, worrying about everything or praising and thanking God through it all. I can be down in the valley and bring others along with me, or I can choose to live on the mountains with Jesus while I pass on a smile, a nice greeting, a word of encouragement, a lifting scripture, etc. Every day, we have the choice to make it a great day in Jesus or to join so many others who are choosing confusion, fear, and depression.”

I’ll take Jesus. I hope you’ll join me. ☺

Tick tock, tick tock. This is our time to live for Jesus.

God of All Comfort

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.

The Mark Of The Beast And Heaven

THE RAPTURE; Christ returns for his bride, the church.

It’s really funny to me that I spend any time at all concerned and worried about this earthly life when we are so close to being in Heaven – forever. I mean what a contrast. Why waste time wringing my hands about earth when the most wonderful thing is about to happen?

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Colossians 3:2

Right?

The other day, Ann and I watched a portion of a film that’s coming out in the next few weeks. The documentary, Planet Lockdown, is an interview with former Assistant Director of US Housing and Development, Catherine Austin Fitts. She has quite a resume and is uniquely qualified to share her insights on the topic.

Catherine discusses the all-digital central bank digital currency (CBDC) plan to implement what she calls the “Bible’s Mark Of The Beast” in the world’s major countries in the next two to four years – 2 to 4 years. Most Bible prophecy experts believe the Mark will come at the 3.5 year period in the Tribulation or at the beginning of the Great Tribulation which is the last 3.5 years of the total 7-year Tribulation period.

If that’s true, we are so close to the beginning of the Tribulation when you consider just two-four years from now until the central bank intends to implement the Mark in the major countries of the world.

That is so exciting, people. We’re so close to being with Jesus – forever. Hallelujah!

Look up, your redemption is so near.

Caught Away, rapture of the church, second coming, tribulation ...

15 When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked.

16 “Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”

17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

18 As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, “Strike this army with blindness.” So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked.

The Devil Wants Us All Worked Up

Be still, and know that I am God:
Psalm 46:10a

The challenge before us today is to not let the enemy of our souls get us all worked up. We need to remember these scriptures and live by them. Doing so will keep sudden fear and all the other enemy tactics off of us.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto
thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6

Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of
the wicked, when it cometh. For the Lord shall be thy
confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
Proverbs 3:25-26

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:2

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
2 Thessalonians 3:3

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,

Maybe you’ve never put God’s Word to the test in your life.  Maybe you’ve not really done the Word.  It’s never too late to become a doer of The Word.

Let’s stop leaning on our own understanding and trust God – Trust His Word – in all things.  After all, He’s promised to work all things together for the good of those who love Him.

The Lord bless you and keep you
The Lord make His face to shine on you and be gracious unto you
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace

I Get So Blessed Worshiping God

I’m falling more and more in love with God, with His ways, with the Life He’s bringing into my life.

Annie and I love singing songs about God, singing songs to Him, worshiping Him – reminds us of His great love and faithfulness. Doing so literally fills us up with Him. The words to Christian songs resonate deeply with the beautiful work Christ is doing in our lives and we light up in our minds, emotions and spirits with His Love in us as we sing of His Love back to Him. Amazing…

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Ezekiel 36:25-27

I’m realizing more and more that when I do His Word, I’m letting God love me, I’m letting His ways bless my whole being.

What immense joy it is to feel God’s Word living and working in my life – Often, I can feel Him – His peace, love and joy – clear down to the bone and it’s wonderful. There has never been anything like it. Wow, it’s just incredible. To be lining up with His will is such pleasure, rest, peace, love and Heavenly joy.

This is why I want to know more about Him and to give Him more and more control over my life.

When I’m loving my wife the way Christ loves the church, I’m worshiping God. Whenever I obey God, I’m worshiping Him, I’m telling Him I agree with His ways. I’m saying I want to do His will because He and I both know how blessed it is to worship Him.

When I love my enemy, I’m worshiping God. When I forgive those who’ve hurt me, I’m worshiping God, when I feed the poor, I’m worshiping Him, when I’m thankful and grateful, I’m worshiping Him, when I meditate on His Word, I’m worshiping Him. When I let His peace reign in my heart and believe that He’s working all things together for my good, I’m worshiping Him, and so on. Whenever I say, “Yes, Lord, I agree with You,” I’m worshiping Him.

He loves it when we worship Him by giving Him our lives in total agreement with His Word, with His will. He has only the best for me and I walk in His best for me when I do His will, when I worship Him.

When I think of how far He’s brought me and how faithful He’s been all the way, I just get so blessed.

What a blessing it is to have Him living in me. What a new reality it is for me…

Can’t wait to see Him face to face.

Great Shaking

So much could be written about the shaking the Bible talks about and what it means to each of us.

What are your “buttons?” What can set you off, make you mad, etc?

The devil’s a thief. He’ll steal anything he can from you. And, he’ll take your Christian witness and testimony from you if you let him. It’s true.

The thief (the devil) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (Jesus) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 10:10

In the above scripture, we’re told that the devil only comes to steal, kill and destroy. He does nothing but this. That’s how miserable and awful he is. And he wants to infect as many others as he can with his tormenting, consuming, suffocating, killing power.

Many today are opening themselves up to the devil. He’s hitting a lot of their “buttons.” People are letting in his anger, division, rage, revenge, hate – all sorts of evil. These same people have little to no spiritual discernment in the things of God. As a result, they’re going to become Satan’s prey to the point that they will do whatever he wants them to do. This makes these kinds of people and their agendas very dangerous – spiritually and physically.

These days, what can be shaken will be shaken. If we try to hang onto anything today, we take on the chance of becoming angry if it looks like “it” can/will be taken from us.

The enemy wants us to be angry. This is his area of expertise and his arena. He knows how to get to us and to get us to do his bidding. Those who let themselves be taken in by the enemy will have a very difficult time as they open themselves up to injustice, fear, worry, pity parties, pride, disappointment, discouragement, dismay, depression, anger, unforgiveness, resentment, hate, revenge, and all the rest.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Romans 12:19

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1 Peter 5:8-9

If you feel yourself becoming and staying angry, ask God to help you see what is happening to you. The devil tries to get a foothold in our hearts through anger. If he succeeds, he’ll pour more of his poison into us to the point that we’ll lose the work Jesus has done in us. We’ll become open to things that will attempt to steal, kill and destroy us.

Thou (God) wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Isaiah 26:3

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
1 Corinthians 10:13

Pray for each other that God will keep your discernment clear is these last days. Be in the Word. And if you feel yourself beginning to be consumed by anger, ask God to help you flee that trap. He’ll be faithful to provide the way of escape.

O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.  Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.  Amen?  Hallelujah!

God has redeemed my life in so many ways and probably the biggest way He’s done so is with His mighty promise in Romans 8:28.  All fear disappears when I keep my mind on Romans 8:28.  In fact, I get excited every time the Holy Spirit reminds of His Word to me in that passage.

The Lord bless you and keep you
The Lord make His face to shine on you and be gracious unto you

The Adventure and Excitement In Romans 8:28

Annie and I were discussing today’s world last night and I told her how the Lord had been showing me how exciting our times are and how He can work all things together for my good. It was powerful, fun, and I felt I can’t wait to see how things unfold knowing I’m His child.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28

God alone has the power to make all things work for our good.

No matter what, my friends, keep believing Romans 8:28. This is what Jesus continues to impress on me. When you cover today’s world with Romans 8:28, life is exciting and an adventure only God could create.

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Hallelujah!
