Blessing

The Lord bless you and keep you as only He can
The Lord make His face to shine on you and be gracious unto you
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace
And I put the Name of the God of the children of Israel on you and bless you in Jesus’ Name, the Name that is ABOVE every other name.

ABOVE all earthly distractions. Mmmm…

The Flu Blessing

Something’s happening in the Spirit with me.

It probably wasn’t food poisoning last week after all since Annie seemed to have a touch of the same bug about two days after I got it.

I was in bed most of the day on Friday. It was such a huge blessing. I slept and woke up throughout the day and felt the presence of the Lord like I haven’t experienced in a while. He began speaking such marvelous things to me. Then it dawned on me that what was happening was that I was being forced to “still” myself.

It is so sweet to still yourself before Jesus. I could tell He was calling me to do this like I did in Oregon in the 80s. The experience was like nothing else in life and beyond all expectations.

Today, Annie asked me to take a few days in the next week or so to be with Jesus – Further confirmation. Annie always feels more covered and protected when I still myself before Jesus.

So, I may take a break from writing for a little bit to be alone with Jesus. I get so excited just thinking about it. I’ve never done anything as wonderful as spending time stilling myself before Him.

Be still and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10a). Wow, what a blessing to hear Jesus calling you to come away from everything to still yourself in His matchless Presence.

Blessing

It doesn’t make sense. I don’t understand it. How can I cast my care on Jesus? It doesn’t need to make sense and we don’t need to understand it. We cast all care on Him through faith. It’s an act of faith. Our entire walk with Jesus is based on faith.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6

It takes faith to cast all your care on Jesus. It takes faith to live ABOVE.

Be careful for nothing. In other words, don’t take on any “care.” It will wear you out. Jesus knows this and commands us to cast all of our care – every one of them – on Him. He takes “care” of us. Amazing. He’s always with us, every moment of the day or night.

The Lord bless you and keep you
The Lord make His face to shine on you and be gracious unto you
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace
And I put the Name of the God of the children of Israel on you and bless you in Jesus’ Name, the Name that is ABOVE every other name.

Think On These Things – Think On Jesus

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:6-8

Jesus is all of the ABOVE.

Wow, I get to have the Word of God operating in my life, in my thoughts, emotions, spirit and body. I’m learning more of His Word and applying it to every moment of my life. Jesus is controlling more and more of me. There is nothing like this Life – Nothing like Jesus.

Think on these things – Know His Word and think on it. When I look at and meditate on the verses He gave us in Oregon, I’m so blessed. What a relief this kind of Life is. Truly, Jesus is salvation.

Listen to His amazing voice speak these Words of Life to your spirit and think on them/Him…

“Be careful for nothing” – Just one of the wonderful things about Jesus.

Thanking and praising God in all things,
