A Reminder About Whose We Are

1 “Son of man, prophesy against Gog and say:  ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:  I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal.  2 I (God) will turn you around and drag you along.  I will bring you from the far north and send you against the mountains of Israel.  3 Then I will strike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows drop from your right hand.  4 On the mountains of Israel you will fall, you and all your troops and the nations with you.  I will give you as food to all kinds of carrion birds and to the wild animals.  5 You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord. 6 I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the Lord.
Ezekiel 39:1-6

I hear so much about how Islam plans to completely destroy Israel.  I saw a map of Israel’s land in comparison to the land the Muslim nations occupy – Quite an overwhelming contrast in the natural.  It reminded me that it doesn’t matter what I’m up against, no matter how large the problem or enemy threat, God’s with me.  And, as is the case with tiny Israel, that’s all that matters.

1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:  he (God) that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is thy keeper:  the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil:  he shall preserve thy soul.

8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
Psalm 121

Is it any wonder why we worship this loving God who watches over and protects us, why we can’t help but love and seek more and more of our Heavenly Father? ☺

God bless,
