And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

This verse has rescued me so many times over the years. I like the words strive, gentle and patient in the verse. Being reminded of these traits can really calm me down and keep me in the proper perspective in my Christian walk. They remind me to yield to Jesus in all circumstances while letting Him be Lord in my life all the time.
