Trust Jesus With All Our Heart

5 For many shall come in my (Jesus) name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences (epidemic disease), and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
Matthew 24:5-9

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6

Folks, there are a lot of things in life that can steal our peace if we let them. God commands us to not let our hearts be troubled. The only way to do that is to trust in the Lord with all our heart. We can trust Him in all things.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,
Colossians 3:15

Here’s what God’s trying to teach me all my life. Don’t get mad when things don’t go my way. Instead, let God lead. Just “let” Him lead. Allow yourself, Mark, to be led by My Spirit.

Simple, but profoundly life-changing. At least it has been for me.

Jesus wants to teach us how to sleep through the storms in life just like when He was sleeping in the boat with the disciples in the storm. He can teach us to do it if we’ll remember that we can let His peace rule in our hearts at all times.

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
Romans 8:14

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Isaiah 26:3

Trust God…

God bless,

Mark

Note: While we may not agree with everything a particular church or Christian group teaches or believes, there are times when we can be blessed by something outside the realm of our current understanding of God.
