Hearing Jesus’ Voice And Following Him

With God’s help, I can carry the world. What?

When it comes to hearing and doing God’s Word by applying what it says to our daily lives, we do not want to be slow learners. Believe me.

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Hebrews 4:2

My (Jesus) sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:27-28

There’s is a large cavern between hearing His Word and mixing it with faith. For a long time, even though I heard Jesus’ voice, I didn’t follow Him like He knew I needed to. I’ve since discovered that there is a huge difference between hearing His voice and following Him – mixing His Word with faith.

The verses God gave us in Oregon were His voice to us. They’re how He began to lead us into green pastures and beside still waters.

Here are some of the beautiful, delivering sounds of Jesus’ voice He was calling out to us in Oregon and is still using to build and fortify our faith.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and
he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw
nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify
your hearts, ye double minded.
James 4:7-8

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto
thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6

Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of
the wicked, when it cometh. For the Lord shall be thy
confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
Proverbs 3:25-26

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Philippians 1:6

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:2

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
2 Thessalonians 3:3

But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1 Timothy 6:6

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7

Hear and learn God’s Word – His voice – and apply it to your everyday life. He wants you free. This is how God teaches you to be free. Hallelujah!

Thanking and praising God in all things,

Mark
