This life teaches to fear or to have God’s overcoming faith. These are the two ways of looking at things. Either through the eyes of fear or eyes of faith. God wants us to live only by faith because it is the only way to the kind of kingdom Life that gives us His joy and victory in all things. This is what taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ is all about.
These days, it’s funny how I can either look at things through fear or faith. I used to live mainly in fear, and it drained the life out of me. When I look at things through God’s Word, through Christ, I fill up with excitement, adventure and anticipation of what God wants to do in my life and what He wants to show me this week. That is the only way to live. So, come on, let’s go and find out what our loving Father has for us. Hallelujah!
Be strong and of a good courage…Only be thou strong and very courageous…Have I (God) not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: For the Lord thy God is with thee withersoever thou goest…Only be strong and of a good courage (the kind of courage that is full of anticipation looking for God’s favor and direction in all things knowing He is leading me into His good, faith-building plan for me – Praise God!).
