We Do Not Ever Need To Be Afraid Of Sudden Fear

Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot (my faith in Christ alone) from being taken.
Proverbs 3:25-26

As I’ve memorized and applied God’s Word – Jesus – to my everyday life and circumstances, my “footing” has been established in Christ and I have a peace that passes understanding and I’m learning that I really can “count it all joy.” (James 1:2-4)

Before getting to know Christ in this way, my footing was a worldly one (at best) that was so susceptible to conditions and circumstances. Jesus gives us a confidence that can only come from ABOVE.

Thanking and praising God in all things (Ephesians 5:20),

Mark

Note: While we may not agree with everything a particular church or Christian group teaches or believes, there are times when we can be blessed by something outside the realm of our current understanding of God.
